The 240bhp 3.2 V6 with 6-speed manual transmission is a classic 6-cylinder engine that offers scintillating performance and unadulterated driving pleasure. The smooth power delivery stirs emotions but it is also a flexible and progressive unit, with a torque curve which makes it possible to travel in sixth gear at less than 2000rpm and to accelerate smoothly without having to change gear.
The 1.9 JTDm diesel engine combines the very latest variable geometry turbocharging, MultiJet injection and other technologies to provide a typically responsive Alfa Romeo driving experience whilst returning outstanding fuel consumption and emissions figures previously unheard of in such an overtly sporting car.
